To further help you understand what malware really is, what are their destructive payloads and how they spread, I created a fully editable content full of malware information just for you. Malware Encyclopedia is a collection of knowledge and information and is editable to everyone. Everyone can now add their malware info content in my website with my Malware Encyclopedia. You can also help expand Malware Encyclopedia by posting your own content. Thus, you will help not only the WormBlaster Development Team but also the users worldwide. WormBlaster is a freeware, all-purpose virus removal tool for Microsoft Windows operating systems. It is carefully designed to help you remove a wide range of threats including viruses, worms, Trojan Horse, or any sorts of malware. It also provides the end-user with a friendly GUI interface. WormBlaster is bundled with the following tools:

1. AutoRepair - a build-in tool designed to automatically repair your computer from virus and worm infection. It is also a counterpart to other virus removal tools. AutoRepair can repair your computer from infection by terminating processes, files, and registry entries that are related to worms. Plus! AutoRepair tool is very flexible because it can be re-configured to remove other worms and viruses by the means of BlasterScript.

2. Process Inspector - this is a tool which is used in viewing and terminating running processes in your computer. Process Inspector is an improved version of Windows Task Manager. With Process Inspector, you can also view properties/attributes of the processes like File Size, Date Modified, Icon Display, Version Information, etc.

3. Registry Tweaks - a useful tool which allows you to tweak your computer's various system configuration like Internet Explorer tweaks, Winlogon tweaks, Windows Explorer tweaks, and Security tweaks. With it, you can re-enable various options that might be disables by viruses and worms (for ex. Task Manager, Registry Editor). There's no need of using a registry editing tool just to manage crucial system configuration.

4. Startup Entry Viewer - a useful tool which allows you to tweak your computer's various system configuration like Internet Explorer tweaks, Winlogon tweaks, Windows Explorer tweaks, and Security tweaks. With it, you can re-enable various options that might be disables by viruses and worms (for ex. Task Manager, Registry Editior). There's no need of using a registry editing tool just to manage crucial system configuration.

5. Autorun Manager - it is the best prevention tool. AutoRun Manager lets you manage Windows' autorun capability. It also allows you to disable autorun in certain drives. Best of all, the good use of this tools is you can use it to disable autorun capability on removable disk such as USB Flash Drives and USB Pen Drives. Thus, viruses and worms that depend on Windows' Autorun feature to spread will never infect your computer giving you much resistance against these kinds of threats.

6. Search 'n Destroy - it is WormBlaster's built-in worm and virus scanner. It works similar to your antivirus software by finding similar patterns in files. Based on Santelmo Engine, it can scan your files at faster rate with less memory. Search 'n Destroy can detect various kinds of malware such as worms, viruses, Trojan horse, spyware, adware, downloader, hackware, etc. Best of all, it uses an effective algorithm to detect threats more accurately without traces of false positives.

7. Log Agent - a tool used to diagnose and troubleshoot strange computer behavior. It works by taking a snapshot of your system including running processes, entries in startup list, and registry configuration. Then, it generates a log which in turn you can use to save it on a file or copy it to the clipboard to be pasted in forums.

8. Submit Suspicious File - feature integrated into WormBlaster to aid you to submit suspicious files and virus samples for analysis. (Note: This feature is still under beta testing and may not work as expected. You can temporarily submit your virus samples here in My 4Shared folder.)

9. Bird's Eye - it is a useful tool bundled with WormBlaster. It allows me to monitor and gauge virus attacks and worm outbreaks. It works by sending a log containing a list of viruses and worms detected everytime you scan your computer with Search 'n Destroy.
